How to Use the Daily Panchang (Without Being a Priest)
Tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, vara — five limbs that can quietly upgrade your daily timing.
The panchang is a Vedic almanac with five limbs: tithi (lunar day), nakshatra (Moon's constellation), yoga, karana and vara (weekday). Together they describe the quality of time. You do not need priestly training to benefit. Check three things each morning: the tithi for the day's emotional tone, the nakshatra for what activities are favoured, and rahu kaal — the hours to avoid starting anything important. Big decisions — signing agreements, launches, journeys, first meetings — deserve a proper muhurta. But for everyday life, aligning even loosely with the panchang brings a noticeable smoothness.
