By mean-node calculation, Rahu enters Capricorn and Ketu enters Cancer around 6 December 2026; true-node panchangs may differ by 1–3 days. The pair stays on this axis about eighteen months — here is which house it touches for your Moon sign.

The short answer: by our panchang calculation (mean node, Lahiri ayanamsha), Rahu leaves Aquarius and enters Capricorn around 6 December 2026. At the same moment Ketu moves from Leo into Cancer. The pair then stays on the Capricorn–Cancer axis for roughly eighteen months — December 2026 to about mid-2028.

One caveat first. This date comes from the mean node, a smoothed average of Rahu's position. Panchangs that use the true node (the exact, wobbling position) can show a date 1–3 days either side. Both methods are valid — so treat the first week of December as the window, not one fixed day.

On 1 December Rahu sits at only 0°15′ of Aquarius. At that pace the distance takes about five days — which is why the entry lands around 6 December. Ketu is always exactly opposite Rahu (180 degrees apart), so it crosses from Leo into Cancer the same day.
